Jarrod has a scientific background, as a trained scientist and earning his PhD in Cancer Biology. After his post-doctoral appointment, he decided to make the transition to project management. “My career thus far has involved project management positions in large and small pharma companies spanning oncology, neuro and rare diseases,” said Jarrod. “My scientific background and varied experience in drug development (pre-clinical, clinical, regulatory, pre-launch) has allowed me to walk into clients and immediately offer a broad level of expertise and experience to organize and propel their projects forward.”
While looking for a career change, a colleague recommended that Jarrod consider consulting, specifically Praxis, as an option. He was impressed with Praxis’ philosophy of providing high-level management consulting services, while providing a family-like environment that cares about the individual. “I have seen both of these first-hand by observing the level of service we provide at clients, and by the incredible support I received recently becoming a first-time father.”
Working for Praxis, Jarrod truly enjoys the people. “I have the privilege of working with some of the most highly skilled and down-to-earth people I have thus far in my career.”
“The best part of my day is my early morning chats with Steve,” said Jarrod. “We are the early birds at our current client, and I enjoy catching up on client and Praxis business while mixing in some lighthearted banter.
